Welcome to CGMAPP (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By downloading, installing, or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CGMAPP, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and that you accept and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the app.

2. Accounts and Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • You may not create more than one account for the purpose of evading a ban or circumventing any restrictions.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use CGMAPP to:

  • Post or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Upload or share material that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Send unsolicited messages, spam, or chain letters.
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or any other malicious code.
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts, damages, or interferes with the app or its servers.
  • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest data from the app without prior written permission.

4. Community Guidelines

CGMAPP is a Christian community platform. We expect all users to:

  • Treat fellow members with respect, kindness, and dignity.
  • Share content that uplifts, encourages, and edifies the community.
  • Refrain from promoting content that conflicts with Christian values or is spiritually harmful.
  • Report content that violates these guidelines using the in-app report feature.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post. By sharing content on CGMAPP, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute your content solely in connection with providing and improving the app. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this licence.

6. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Your use of the app constitutes acceptance of that policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The CGMAPP name, logo, and all related marks, graphics, and content created by us are our exclusive property. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent. Content created by third-party contributors (e.g., devotionals, sermons) remains the property of its respective authors.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

CGMAPP is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CGMAPP and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date above or via an in-app notification. Your continued use of the app after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
